Kamal Haasan discharged from hospital following health scare: Report

Kamal Haasan was hospitalised in Chennai due to ill-health on November 24. The Vikram star was admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre (SRMC) in Chennai, as per latest reports, the actor has been discharged following his checkup. Any official statement from the actor is still awaited.

Iconic actor Kamal Haasan was hospitalised in Chennai due to ill-health on November 24. The 68-year-old actor was down with fever, and later got admitted to a private hospital in Chennai. As per reports, the Vikram star was admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre (SRMC) in Chennai.

KAMAL HAASAN HEALTH UPDATE

As per latest reports, the actor has been discharged from the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre (SRMC) two days after being admitted following complaints of fever.

According to a report in India Today, the actor has been advised to take rest, but it seems he will resume work immediately. However, one has to wait and see if the actor would head to the sets of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 6 to host the weekend episodes.

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan recently posted on Instagram that he met veteran filmmaker K Viswanath at the latter's residence in Hyderabad. The duo had earlier collaborated in award-winning movies Sagara Sangamam and Swati Muthiyam.

Kamal Haasan took to social media and shared a photo in which he is seen bowing and holding K Viswanath’s hand. Sharing the post, he wrote, “Met the master K. Viswanath sir at his home. Lots of nostalgia and respect."

HOSPITAL STATEMENT

Meanwhile, sharing the health update of the veteran actor, the hospital's official statement read, "Sri Kamal Haasan was admitted on 23.11.2022 with mild fever, cough, and cold. He is recovering and will be discharged in a day or two.

On the work front, he is currently busy with the shoot of Shankar's Indian 2. He is also seen as a host of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 6. He will also be seen in Mani Ratnam's KH 234.
