New Delhi: Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Wednesday informed that she has tested positive for Covid-19 and she will be isolating at home. "Tested positive for covid (again!) today. Will be isolating at home and following all protocols," she said in a tweet. This is the second time she has contracted the virus. Earlier in June, she had tested positive for coronavirus. In a tweet, Gandhi had then said she had mild symptoms. "Following all protocols, I have quarantined myself at home. In a separate development, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's visit to Rajasthan's Alwar was cancelled as he was unwell. He was scheduled to attend the party's 'Netratv Sankalp Shivir' there today, news agency ANI reported citing sources.
In the first week of June, Congress president Sonia Gandhi also tested positive for the virus. She too had a mild fever and had isolated herself on medical advice. Later, she was admitted to Delhi's Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. On June 18, the hospital said that she was stable and was recovering well, according to news agency PTI.
