Sonam Kapoor wishes 'best parents' with throwback pic on anniversary, but says Anil Kapoor's obsession with Sunita was 'gross as a kid'

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor shared a carousel of images for her parents on their anniversary. For the unversed, Bollywood celebrity couple Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor celebrate their anniversary today and daughter Sonam Kapoor shared a series of throwback images of the two to mark the occasion.

The first in the series of images who Anil Kapoor and Sunita as youngsters, with the dapper actor looking lovingly at his wife. Other images show the two sharing a candid moment laughing while hills peek from the background, Sunita hugging Anil at a crowded location, while he looks away and both of them posing for the camera, looking stunning in ethnic wear.

Sonam shared the images alongside a caption that read, "Happy Anniversary to the best parents on love you ! You both set the best example as a couple , parents and partners.. I couldn’t have asked for more. Also mom, dads obsessed with you.. it was gross as a kid but it’s unbelievably cute now."

Earlier today, Anil's wife Sunita too had shared a lovely caption for her husband. Sonam's mom had shared a pic from their younger days, alongside a caption that read, "Happy Anniversary husband, you're my best friend, my human diary and my other half… here's to us, to our love, to our hearts and to our dreams… and to many more adventures. Love you and miss you.”

A number of people reacted to it, with Anil Kapoor replying with a string of red heart emoticons. Anupam Kher too commented, "Happy anniversary to both of you. Love and happiness always," while Anil Kapoor's son-in-law Karan Boolani also left a row of red heart emojis.

Seema Khan also wished the couple a happy anniversary. Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan commented, “Happiness and love to you both always. Missing you," while Shilpa Shetty wrote, “Awwwww Happy Anniversary Sunita Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. You guys are goals.”
