Aaditya Thackeray To Launch Jan Akrosh Rally Today Against Shinde Govt For Losing Out Vedanta Deal

The multi-billion initiative of Vedanta and Foxconn to build a semiconductor facility in Gujarat has caused intense political debate in the state of Maharashtra. Aaditya Thackeray criticises the state's present administration, blaming Eknath Shinde and the Bharatiya Janata Party for failing to win the massive development project that was ultimately awarded to the Gujarat government after being almost decided to be built in Maharashtra. It has been declared by Junior Thackeray that the Jan Akrosh Rally will begin in Talegaon, which is near Pune. Before the deal was given to Gujarat, Talegaon was chosen as the location for the semiconductor facility.
