Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 kickstarted with a bang with a blockbuster premiere episode on Saturday (September 3). The dance-based reality show creates ripples on the small screen, all thanks to the power-packed performances. Ahead of the launch of JDJ 10, the show remained in headlines after rumours of a fight between Urfi Javed and Paras Kalnawat surfaced on the internet.
Gossip mills suggested that Urfi and Paras engaged in a war of words during the launch of the show in Mumbai. The former couple reportedly had an argument at the party, which was held at a five-star hotel. While the duo never confirmed the conjecture, speculations were rife that they couldn't see eye-to-eye at the event.
Urfi, who now spells her name as Uorfi Javed, surprised her fans when she turned cheerleader for her former boyfriend Paras. The Bigg Boss OTT contestant cheered for the Anupamaa actor and praised his act on the premiere of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10.
The 24-year-old also extended her warm wishes to Paras Kalnawat and his choreographer Shweta Sharda, saying that she was 'loving them' in the show. In her Instagram story, she wrote, "So proud to see you growing", referring to Paras.
After Urfi praised his performance, Paras spoke about the reality TV star and said that he 'respected her hard work and dedication'. The Dil Hi Toh Hai actor, while interacting with a portal, said that they have a 'mutual respect' for each other.
"We have spoken about her struggles in the past and that is what makes me proud of her. We aren’t in the zone to fight with each other, the way it’s been portrayed out in the world. It’s just that we have mutual respect and admiration for one another," Paras told ETimes.
Paras and Urfi, who worked together in Meri Durga, parted ways after being together for a while. She had accused him of 'stopping her entry' in Anupamaa. Paras had denied all the allegations, claiming that he had 'no power' as an artist to stop someone's entry in a show.
