Alligators are scary reptiles and nobody would want these creatures to be wandering in the city. In a bizarre incident from Texas, an alligator was seen at an ATM. Well, you heard it right! The presence of the alligator at the ATM was reported after it scared a woman who came to use the service.
The video of the rescue was posted on Facebook by the Lake Worth Police Department. The body cam footage showcased how the brave officers relocated the alligator from the ATM. In the clip, an officer is heard saying, "We’ve never seen a gator outside of the lake, ever." As the video proceeds, the officers are seen capturing the alligator on the ground.
The video was also posted on Twitter. It was captioned, "CRIKEY! ALLIGATOR IN CUSTODY. Last night, our officers responded to a wildlife call at a local ATM "hissing" was reported near the ATM. Upon arrival, a 3 1/2 foot alligator was located! Our friends (...) arrived and relocated the alligator. Never a dull moment!"
The police department also advised people not to handle such animals on their own. The clip was posted on social media on September 2. It garnered more than 1.21 lakh. Meanwhile, people online had a lot to comment on the incident. “I thought alligators kept their money in the River Bank,” said one user. Another stated, "He was just trying to do his banking before the holiday weekend!” A third person commented, "He was only trying to make a deposit."
