Due to the nationwide celebration of National Cinema Day on this coming Friday, the box office makeup of the Hindi film industry may be irrevocably changed. The cost of feature film tickets has been reduced to a reasonable Rs 75, and the movie Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, appears to be the biggest beneficiary of this move. The movie has received exceptional bookings for September 23.

Brahmastra has outperformed every Hindi film release so far this year in terms of footfall, including hits like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 (1.02 Lakh) and RRR (1.05 Lakh). Guess what, it's just second to (among Hindi Films) Brahmastra, which sold 3.02 lakh tickets on the first day of the show.
The top 2 positions will be held by the same movie as Brahmastra is predicted to surpass its own record of 3.02 lakh tickets by Thursday night and set a record for the largest advance sale in a single day in 2022.
The fact that a picture would surpass the opening day advance booking record in its third weekend is unprecedented in the recent history of Hindi film, and the low price points are largely responsible.
