Uttar Pradesh: Minor boy killed by girl's father and brother for suspected affair

Police said that the girl’s father had seen his daughter talking with the minor boy on several occasions and suspected that they were having an affair. He along with his son kidnapped the boy and beat him to death and dumped his body in a pond. The father has been arrested while the son is still absconding.

Kanpur: A 14-year-old minor boy was beaten to death for a suspected affair with a girl. The accused include the girl's father and her brother and their associates. The boy's dead body was found in a pond.

According to the police the incident was reported from Rampur Ludhwakheda village located in Ganga barrage area under Gwaltoli police station late Wednesday night.

The boy's father Bablu Nishad lodged an FIR against one Udan Nishad, his son Aman and his associates at Gwaltoli police station. While the police have arrested Udan Nishad a manhunt has been launched to arrest the other accused. The FIR was launched under sections of the IPC for kidnapping and murder, Times of India reported.

According to the ACP Colonelganj Amarnath Yadav the 14-year-old boy Saurabh, the son of a farmer Bablu Nishad was a resident of Rampur Ludhwakheda village and was a student of class 7. He was kidnapped by Udan Nishad, his son Aman and his associates.

He said that Udan Nishad, who is a resident of a neighbouring village of Nathapurwa suspected Saurabh of having an affair with his daughter as he had seen the two of them talking on several occasions.

The police further said that on Wednesday night Udan Nishad, Aman and their associates kidnapped Saurabh and then beat him to death outside the village and then tied his body with bricks and threw it in a pond.

Saurabh’s family began looking for him when he did not return home and when they failed to trace him for a long time lodged an FIR with the Gwaltoli police against the father-son duo and initiated their investigations.

After Udan was arrested, he told the police where they had dumped Saurabh's dead body in the pond.
