Caught on cam: Wife-beater on the run after his heinous crime goes viral; attacked neighbour for informing cops

In a horrific incident, CCTV footage of a man mercilessly beating his wife on the street has gone viral on social media. Residents of the area rescued the woman after they heard her cries for help. The couple are residents of Mahendra Enclave area of Kavinagar area in Ghaziabad and the accused has been identified as Saurabh Mishra.

New Delhi: In a horrific incident, CCTV footage of a man mercilessly beating his wife on the street has gone viral on social media. Residents of the area rescued the woman after they heard her cries for help.
The couple are residents of Mahendra Enclave area of Kavinagar area in Ghaziabad and the accused has been identified as Saurabh Mishra who is on the run currently. In the video, the accused is seen chasing and thrashing the victim, Aarohi at night on the street.
Aarohi attempts to escape him and is seen running however Saurabh catches her and beats her brutally. She then falls on the road helpless and he continues his assault. When a resident of the area informed the police about the heinous crime Saurabh along with his father and brother attacked him as well.
Nipun Aggarwal, SP City Ghaziabad has said that the Police have taken note of the incident and an arrest warrant has been issued for Saurabh, his father, and brother. Further details are awaited.
In yet another horrific incident earlier this month, a man allegedly forced his wife to drink toilet cleaner (Harpic) after she refused to take back a domestic violence complaint that was registered against him.
The 32-year-old woman also alleged that her husband brutally assaulted her. At the Ranip Police station, an FIR regarding the incident has been filed in which the victim further alleged that her husband clicked nude photographs of her, Ahmedabad Mirror reported.
The couple met on a matrimonial site and the victim reportedly married the accused last year. The victim already had a child from her previous marriage. Owing to marital disputes, the victim divorced her previous husband, whom she had married in 2009. After the divorce, the victim got custody of her 11-year-old son.
