We will continue our ongoing efforts to increase road safety awareness as a responsible manufacturer while equipping our vehicles with the latest safety features and technologies," read a statement from Mercedes-Benz India.

Following the incident, the Police asked several serious questions related to the matter from the German luxury auto brand, “Why do not the airbags open? Was there any mechanical fault in the vehicle? What was the tire pressure?” Answers to this and more will only be revealed after the details investigation currently being done by the team of experts from Hong Kong.
