Mumbai: In yet another shocking incident, Shiv Sena MLA Santosh Bangar allegedly abused and thrashed a private catering manager on Monday. The rebel Shiv Sena MLA alleged that workers in his area were given bad quality midday meals.

Bangar criticised the food's quality in the video and allegedly slapped the catering service manager. The video quickly went viral on social media.

The manager then explained that the meal in issue was leftover and it was about to be discarded. However, the MLA did not listen and continued to abuse the manager.

Bangar is reportedly heard saying in the viral video, “Immediately contact the district collector and terminate those who are responsible for this.”

Bangar said that he received a complaint about the poor quality of the meal and went to the location to examine it himself.

After the incident, MLA Santosh Bangar told, “I have not abused him. I have only said that your behaviour is not correct. Government is giving you salary, government is providing you everything, but if you are behaving in such a way, I won’t tolerate this. If this people are not willing to change I will behave in the same manner.”

The Shiv Sena MLA from Hingoli joined the Shinde camp minutes before the Maharashtra Assembly floor test in July.
