The RBI put in restrictions on MMFSL from using third party agents for repossession. The Company clarified that the RBI has done so only for the purpose of its third party agents. The company does not use any third party agents in recoveries. The company said it would therefore only affect repossession for the company. As regards repossession, the company suggested that ~4000-5000 vehicles are repossessed every month of which around 3000-4000 are done through third party agents.
