Nagpur: Man murders in-laws with axe over property strife; tries to strangle wife

The incident reportedly took place on Sunday in Nagpur's Amar Nagar area. Police have identified the accused as Narmu Seeta Yadav (40), who was a driver. An official said that in a fit of rage Yadav allegedly tried to strangle Kalpana, then he attacked his in-laws with an axe.

Nagpur: In yet another shocking incident, a man allegedly murdered his in-laws with an axe after a dispute over property in Maharashtra's Nagpur. The incident reportedly took place on Sunday in Nagpur's Amar Nagar area.
Police have identified the accused as Narmu Seeta Yadav (40), who was a driver. Police identified the deceased as his father-in-law Bhagwan Ravare (75), mother-in-law Pushpa Ravare (70), news outlet India Today reported.
As per reports, Narmu Seeta Yadav also allegedly tried to strangle his wife Kalpana (40) on Saturday night.
Since Yadav married Kalpana in 2013, he has been residing at his in-laws' home. Bhagwan Ravare owned 50 goats and ran a milk business. The accused thought that Bhagwan Ravare, had money with him since some of the animals had been sold. Moreover, Yadav requested to be given the two-story house, which led to a dispute.
An official said that in a fit of rage Yadav allegedly tried to strangle Kalpana, then he attacked his in-laws with an axe. According to the official, the accused attacked nearby residents who tried to stop him from leaving the area.
