BGMI or Battlegrounds Mobile India, the Indian version of the popular PUBG Mobile multiplayer open-world game has been de-listed from App stores of Google and Apple following a government order.

BGMI or Battlegrounds Mobile India, the Indian version of the popular PUBG Mobile multiplayer game has been de-listed from the App stores of Google and Apple following a government order.
A Krafton spokesperson said: "We are clarifying how BGMI was removed from the Google Play store and the App store and will let you know once we get specific information.”
However, New State of Mobile, a similar game from the makers of BGMI - Krafton is still available to download on the Android and iOS app stores.
"On receipt of the order, following the established process, we have notified the affected developer and have blocked access to the app that remained available on the Play Store in India," a Google spokesperson said.
Just last week popular K-Pop girl band 'BlackPink' performed virtually in the game along with debuting a special track and a music video which was scheduled to come out later this month.
BGMI is also one of the most popular Esports titles in the country with multiple Esports tournaments around the game. Earlier this month, BGMI had surpassed 100 million registered users in the country.
