One of the most renowned actors in the entertainment industry, R. Madhavan, is all set to release his upcoming directorial debut biopic Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. It is based on the life of Nambi Narayanan who is a former scientist and aerospace engineer of ISRO.
Well, our all-time favourite actor is leaving no stone unturned and is on a promotional spree. From premiering the film at the 75th Cannes Film Festival in France to featuring it on Times Square in New York, the film even received a standing ovation from other creators.
Today (June 28), the Rang De Basanti actor took to Instagram and shared the sweetest behind-the-camera reaction of Suriya looking at R Madhavan's transformation to Nambi Narayanan. Madhavan captioned the post, “Only my bro @actorsuriya can make me feel so good and react like this.. Nambi sir is a huge fan of my bro and his father .#rocketrythefilm.”
As he posted the video on social media, fans are going crazy over the transformation and commented, “Priceless Reaction from Suriya Anna,” and “From sea hawks to Karthik to Nambi, you rock Maddy, always your fan..” While many others are eagerly waiting for the film to release and to indulge themselves in the story of Nambi Narayan.
Talking about the film and how the idea of making this movie strikes him, R Madhavan recently shared a video of how he had to redo his entire script after meeting Nambi Narayanan. In the conversation, Madhavan also talked about what he came to know from Narayanan, that he studied at an Ivy League University, his working relationship with Dr APJ Abdul Kalam and his camaraderie with Vikram Sarabhai. He further added, “I could see my scripts being torn to shreds.”
As the video continued, the Bollywood actor also spilt the beans on two of the most difficult challenges he faced during the shoot. The actor also touched upon its greatest achievements and how the Rocketry team achieved to manoeuvre the look between the schedule of 43 days.
Coming back to the film, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is written and produced by R Madhavan, who is playing the lead role. The film is slated to hit the theatres on July 1 and will also feature Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya in cameo appearances. It will be released in Tamil, Hindi, and English and has also been dubbed in Telugu and Kannada.
