After having had its world premiere on May 2, MCU's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to hit theatres on May 6, Friday. While a few of the theories have already borne fruit, like the one where Patrick Stewart's Professor X was revealed in the Doctor Strange 2 Super Bowl trailer, but fans have been super-excited to know if Tom Cruise will take up the mantle of Iron Man after Robert Downey Jr stepped down from playing the character he helped popularise.
Ahead of the film's release Benedict Cumberbatch appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and despite admitting that he cannot give anything away due to Marvel's stringent controls, he feigned deciding to give Fallon an exclusive regarding one major cameo. The actor started humming the theme to Cruise's Top Gun.

According to a report in ScreenRant, when Fallon excitedly inquired if he was being serious, the Doctor Strange actor was quoted as saying, "Well look, I guess I am on the Fallon Show, so maybe... Maybe, Jimmy, I can give you just one clue as to someone who may be in the film, because it's coming out quite soon. I'm not gonna say their name, but I'll see if you can guess it from a theme tune of something else that they've done that's quite well known. Ready? [Hums Top Gun theme]".
He, however, went on to add, "No. Sorry to disappoint the people that have bought their ticket wanting to see two Tom Cruise movies in one month..."
