As India celebrates its diamond jubilee it's an opportunity to look back at the great economic achievements made as a nation and while we look at the opportunities, we can also make note of the challenges that lie ahead. We have moved from being an impoverished state to becoming one of the most coveted market places in the world. The large population is a demographic dividend. But at the same time, we have challenges to overcome. While many Indians have been lifted above poverty, the inequality in incomes is still stark. We are also riddled with the growing challenge of jobs. So, what should be the priority for India for the next 25 years? What do we hope India @100 looks like?
