The Kerala K-Rail Silverline Project Survey has been suspended amid the heavy protests that are continuously intensifying. The survey was supposed to take place in Ernakulam and certain districts in the North. However, the massive protests have resulted in the survey being called off. The agency that was given the task to conduct the survey informed the Railway board that a survey can only be carried out under police protection. Earlier, Congress had carried out protests outside Raj Bhawan in Thiruvananthapuram demanding to scrap the project.
