Karan Johar to host a grand bash for his 50th birthday, many A-listers to be a part of celebration - more details here

Trust Karan Johar to make headlines every time he hosts a party and the filmmaker will never disappoint. Tomorrow, May 25, Karan will turn 50, and to celebrate his special day, he is hosting a lavish bash. If reports are anything to go by, Karan has booked Yash Raj Studios for the occasion.

Talking about the same, a source has shared, "Much like his films, Karan will be bringing in his 50th birthday in midst of grand sets and glamour. In-fact, the filmmaker has got Amrita Mahal, who has worked on creating the sets of films like Kalank, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and the soon to be released Brahmastra and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, to design the entire set up for the birthday bash."

Further, the source told Pinkvilla that many tinsel town biggies are expected to be a part of Karan's birthday party. The source added, "It's a theme party and the invitation sent out to all the attendees has a mention of the same. It's going to be a black and bling theme for the bash."

Karan's next production venture, Jugjugg Jeeyo is set to hit the screens next month. The trailer of the movie recently dropped online and it became the talk of the town. Helmed by Raj Mehta, the film stars Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in lead roles. Karan is also backing many other projects including Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's Brahmastra.

Apart from this, Karan has also worn the director's hat for Alia and Ranveer Singh's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The movie will also star Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in important roles.
