Ek Villain Returns, co-starring Arjun Kapoor, John Abraham, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria, released on Friday (July 29). The film opened to a rather slow start and on day four, the film's total collection stands at Rs 26.56 crore.
On its first day, the film recorded an earning of Rs 7.05 crore. Next up, the film minted over Rs 7 crore and on Sunday, Ek Villain Returns saw an upward trend to register Rs 9 crore at the box office. The first Monday, however, the film witnessed a major dip and recorded a total collection of Rs 3.02 crore.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to social media to share the film's earnings. His tweet read: "#EkVillainReturns Fri 7.05 cr, Sat 7.47 cr, Sun 9.02 cr, Mon 3.02 cr. Total: ₹ 26.56 cr. #India biz."

Ek Villain Returns marks the spiritual successor to the 2014-film Ek Villain. Helmed by Mohit Suri, the psychological action thriller film has been produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banners Balaji Motion Pictures and T-Series. The film opened to a mixed bag of reviews. However, netizens hailed Arjun Kapoor for his performance in the film.
Next up, Arjun has films like Kuttey and The LadyKiller in the pipeline. As for John, the actor will be a part of YRF's ambitious project Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. Disha Patani, meanwhile, will grace the big screen in Yodha and Tara Sutaria will star in Apurva.
