Despite being in his 70s, veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty is amongst the celebrities who has been actively working in the industry. Last seen in a pivotal role in Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files, Mithun is currently seen as a judge in the reality show Hunarbaaz: Desh Ki Shaan .
Well, a photo of Mithun Chakraborty has been going viral on social media these days where the veteran actor could be seen lying unconscious in a hospital bed. Though there has been no confirmation about the same from either the actor or his family, many BJP leaders are sharing this photo on their social media accounts and wishing Mithun Chakraborty a speedy recovery.

National Secretary – BJP Dr. Anupam Hazra also tweeted the photo and wrote, “Get well soon Mithun Da তোমার দ্রুত আরোগ্য কামনা করি মিঠুন দা (I wish you a speedy recovery Mithun Da).”

BJP leader Sanjay Singh also shared this photo on his social media. But when Anandabazar Patrika tried to contact Sanjay, he remained unavailable. However, BJP leader Raju Banerjee talked about the matter and was quoted saying by the publication, “I have doubts on this photo. I really do not know if this picture of Mithun Da is old or new, so I would like to refrain from commenting on this matter.”
The report also revealed that Mithun Chakraborty might not be seriously ill but according to several reports, the actor is supposed to visit America for his treatment. The update has not been confirmed yet.
Having featured in more than 130 movies in his career, Mithun Chakraborty was last seen playing the role of Brahma Bhatt in Vivek Agnihotri’s critically acclaimed film The Kashmir Files. The veteran actor will be next seen starring in a Bengali film Projapoti.
