Mercedes-Benz India CEO Martin Schwenk became the talk of the town after he decided to take an auto-rickshaw to travel to his destination in Pune. The event unfolded after Schwenk got stuck in traffic. He got out of the vehicle and walked a few kilometres. Soon, he found an auto driver and took the ride.

While as Indians, we might already know of this situation, others visiting the country might have to learn it the hard way. Mercedes-Benz India CEO Martin Schwenk had such an experience. He shared it with the public through social media.
Schwenk was travelling to his destination in Pune in a Mercedes S-class when he got stuck in the city's traffic. Instead of sulking about it in his car, Schwenk decided to get out of his vehicle and take public transport. He walked a few kilometres and took an auto-rickshaw. The CEO then took to Instagram to share his experience. He wrote, "If your S-class is stuck in traffic on the wonderful Pune roads - what do you do? Maybe getting off the car, start walking for a few KM’s and then grabbing a rickshaw?”
The CEO's post garnered a lot of attention. Netizens were truly impressed by the CEO's action. They appreciated Schwenk's practical thinking and quick action.
