Delhi University Academic Calendar 2022-23: DU to begin odd semester from July 20

Delhi University has released DU Academic Calendar 2022-23 on June 28. The university has issued an academic calendar for the students of the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth semesters. The University will be conducting the odd semester from July 20 and the even semester will commence from January 2, 2023.

As per the notification issued by the university, theory exams for the students in the fifth and seventh semesters will begin on November 30 and the preparation leave will start on November 16. While the examination for the students in the sixth and seventh semesters will begin on May 11.

As per a PTI report, the notification also states that the winter break will be from December 17 to December 31 and the summer break from May 27, 2023 to July 19, 2023 as per the DU 2022-23 calender.

DU will begin the registration for re-exams of 2nd phase internal exams from tomorrow, June 29, 2022. DU announced to conduct the second phase of internal exams for the students who could not appear for the exams in May-June. The University issued a notice stating that 2nd phase of internal exams for students of undergraduate and postgraduate courses will be conducted and the registrations will begin from June 29.

DU conducted the internal exams in the physical mode for all undergraduate and postgraduate programs that took place in May and June. This was the first time in two years that the university resumed the physical mode of examination.
