Will not contest election for Congress president, Ashok Gehlot announces after meeting Sonia Gandhi

As the Congress leadership continues to grope for a candidate to support in the election for party president, Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot said the party works under its chief Sonia Gandhi and all issues will be sorted out soon. Meanwhile, veteran party leader Digvijaya Singh said he will file nomination for the party president election on Friday.
