When Katrina Kaif said 'not having a father figure creates a vacuum, makes any girl feel vulnerable'

Katrina Kaif is undoubtedly one of the most loved and celebrated actresses in Bollywood. She has managed to create a name for herself with some phenomenal work that she has done over the due course of her time in the movies.
Kaif tied the knot to actor Vicky Kaushal in December 2021 and both of them managed to shell out major couple goals right since the first few photos came out on social media. Though they had kept their relationship under wraps, fans were in awe of the two. Photos and videos from the wedding made it to social media with utmost fanfare, and ever since, they continue to be one of the most loved couples in B-town.
While Katrina has always been someone who has been vocal about family, relationships in general, back in 2019, she had spoken to Filmfare about not having a father figure as a girl. Her mother Suzzane and father Mohammed Kaif separated when Katrina and her siblings were young.
In the interview, Katrina went on to say, “Not having a father figure does create a certain vacuum and makes any girl feel vulnerable. When I have kids, I want them to have the experience of being with both parents.”
She further went on to say how she did struggle emotionally and often felt the voice and reflect that it would have been nice to have a supportive father figure. During her interview with The Indian Express, Katrina had also mentioned that she is not in touch with her father.
On the work front, Katrina has a couple of exciting projects lined up ahead. She will be seen in Phone Bhoot co-starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter.
