Hyderabad to witness light to moderate rainfall with thundershowers over next two days

Hyderabad's Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate intensity showers to lash the city over the next two days. Heavy rainfall is likely in the city during evening hours.

Hyderabad: The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad, has predicted light to moderate intensity rains to lash the city in the next two days. The weather department has issued a yellow alert warning of thundershowers.
In a bulletin issued on Friday, the IMD stated that there is the possibility of heavy rain in the city during the evening hours.
On Friday, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 30.8 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature settled at 23 degrees Celcius. The relative humidity in the city was at 84 per cent.
Moreover, the Met Department in a three-day forecast expressed the likeliness of heavy rainfall in the State. It issued yellow, orange, and red alerts to several districts indicating heavy, very heavy, and extremely heavy rains, respectively.
Here’s the forecast for the next three days-
On August 6 (Saturday):
An orange alert is issued to districts including Rangareddy, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Rajanna Siricilla, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal (Rural), Warangal(Urban), Janagaon, Siddipet, and Yadadri Bhuvangiri.
A yellow alert is issued in Adilabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagityal, Karimnagar, Peddapally, and Khammam districts.
On August 7 (Sunday):
An orange alert is issued to districts including Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nizamabad, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, and Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Warangal (Rural), Warangal (Urban), Janagaon, and Siddipet.
A yellow alert is issued in Adilabad, Nirmal, Jagityal, Rajanna Sirsilla, Karimnagar, Peddapally, and Kamareddy.
On August 8 (Monday):
A red alert is issued to districts including Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagityal, Rajanna Sirsilla, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, and Khammam.
An orange alert is issued to districts including Karimnagar, Peddapally, Mahabubabad, Warangal (Rural), and Warangal (Urban).
A yellow alert is issued to districts including Nalgonda and Suryapet.
