Weeks after Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda turned heads after arriving in chappals at the trailer launch of his film Liger, television actress Uorfi Javed has reacted to the same. The actress, who is often in the news for her DIY fashion choices, confessed that she finds Vijay "very hot."
She gushed about Vijay's presence in the trailer and said: "I actually find him very hot. And he is looking very hot in Liger trailer, maine trailer dekha sirf aur jo aafat wala gana hai, so hot." She also heaped praise on Ananya Panday and she finds her hot as well.
In an interview with RJ Siddharth Kanan, the actress was then asked about Vijay arriving at the trailer launch event in chappals. To this, the actress backed the actor and questioned the need for people to judge each and everything.
She added that she is a big supporter of live and let live, and believes that Vijay should wear whatever he is comfortable in.
"Ek toh mujhe ye nahi samajh aata... We don't have to judge, mai fashion karti hu iska matlab ye nahi ki mai fashion ki judge ban chuki hu. Instagram pe toh har kisi ko judge banna hai, ki ye chappal pehen ke kyu aa gaya. Arre jiska jo mann wo kare yaar, I am a big supporter of live and let live... Usko chappal, usko chadhi mei aana hai usko chaddi mei aane do. Kya maltab hai humse bhai? Why should we judge man? He will do whatever he is comfortable in - we shouldn't judge. That's what I feel," she said.
[Translation: "I don't understand.. we don't have to judge. Just because I do fashion doesn't mean I have to judge everyone's choices. People love to judge on Instagram and question his decision of coming in chappals. Everyone should do as they please - I am a big believer of live and let live. If he wants to arrive in slippers if he wants to come in underpants, let him come in that. What's that got to do with us?"]
The actress also called Vijay's decision to attend the event in slippers a bold move.
