Big twist to Shrikant Tyagi case as Samajwadi Leader Swami Prasad Maurya sued Noida police for defamation. Maurya issued an 11.5 Cr defamation suit against the Noida police. The former BJP leader, who is currently an SP Minister, had earlier said that he will file an FIR against the Noida Police Commissioner who stated that it was Maurya who provided Shrikant Tyagi with a VIP car pass. Maurya cited that the Uttar Pradesh police have taken his name without proper investigation and he will file a case against the Police Commissioner.
