Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally unveiled globally, gets a 30-liter fuel tank and much more!

Ducati has unveiled the Multistrada V4 Rally for the global market. It will slot in above the Multistrada V4 S and equips with more touring-oriented capabilities over the latter adventure motorcycle.

Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally: Suspension and seat height

The Ducati Multistrada V4 is a tall motorcycle, and the V4 Rally is taller. For starters, its ground clearance is now 230 mm, the most among other variants. The seat height can be adjusted from its accessible 805 mm to up to 905 mm.

As for its suspension, Ducati has increased its travel by 200 mm at both ends, from the standard 170 mm (front) and 180 mm (rear). Thse new Skyhook DSS EVO suspension also gets auto-levelling, minimum pre-load, and a suspension lowering kit.

The Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally is powered by the same 1,158 cc V4 Grantourismo engine that produces 168 hp at 10,750 RPM and 125 Nm of torque at 8,750 RPM. However, with the Multistrada V4 Rally, the engine cylinder deactivation technology (rear bank of cylinders can be deactivated) is now available when the bike is cruising at a steady speed, instead of when just idling.

There’s also a new Enduro “off-road” mode, in addition to the regular Sport, Urban and Touring mode. This new mode reduces the power output to 113 bhp, along with that the sensitivity of the traction control is also reduced, with more direct throttle response, coupled with Wheelie control and rear channel ABS completely turned off.

Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally: Three different versionsThe Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally is available in three versions: Adventure Radar, Adventure Travel and Radar, and Full Adventure trim. The first version gets you adaptive cruise control and blind spot detection. The second version adds on to it aluminum side cases, heated grips and saddle. The third and the final version gets you a fully homologated Akrapovic silencer and a carbon fibre front mudguard.
