Patna: Boy shoots girl dead on roadside; incident captured on video - WATCH

Patna: A girl who was on her way for coaching was shot dead by a boy in the bypass area of Patna. The entire incident was captured on a CCTV camera in the area and the footage has now surfaced. In the video, it is clearly visible how the boy is pacing in the area waiting for the girl. When the victim crosses him and keeps walking he follows her and shoots her point blank in the head. The assailant is then seen running from the scene of the crime before passers-by could react. Further details on the case are awaited.

In a similarly shocking incident earlier this week, a 40-year-old man, reportedly a property dealer, was shot dead in broad daylight in the Noor Nagar area of Jamia Nagar in Delhi on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Waseem Sattar Ghazi, a resident of Allahdiya cottage in Jamia Nagar, reported The Times of India.

Though the man was admitted to Holy Family Hospital soon after he was shot, he was declared brought dead by the doctors.

The hospital authorities informed the police regarding the admission of a patient hit by a bullet. A team from the local police station rushed to the hospital and started an investigation into the matter. The family members of the deceased were also informed about the incident, reported TOI.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim, Ghazi was riding his motorcycle on Sunday when an unidentified armed miscreant approached him on a scooty and fired at him near a mosque in Noor Nagar. The assailant fired three round of bullet on Ghazi and then fled the spot.

Police have registered a case under section 302 (murder) and 25, 27,54 and 59 of the Arms Act.
