As Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 inches towards Rs 150 crore at the box office, Kartik Aaryan posts hilarious tweet

Kartik Aaryan, who is undergoing Covid-19 treatment, reacted to his latest film Bhool Bhuliayaa 2 inching towards Rs 150 crore at the box office. The film has achieved quite a feat in three weeks. It has collected over Rs 149.11 crore at the domestic box office.

Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 had hit the screens on May 20 and instantly became Kartik Aaryan's biggest opener as it minted Rs 13.5 crore on Day 1. The film entered the Rs 100 crore club by end of week 2 and when it did, Kartik reacted to it by saying that he will now have to flaunt a 'Rs 100 crore smile'.
In week 3, the film is now inching towards R 150 core, revealed film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh. He shared a tweet listing the Week 3 earnings and stated that the film collected Rs 2.81 crore on Friday and Rs 4.55 crore on Saturday, June 4. The collections for Sunday are awaited. However, the total now amounts to Rs 149.11 crore.
According to Taran Adarsh, the film continues to "magnetize" cinema lovers. "#BhoolBhulaiyaa2 continues to magnetize moviegoers... Is back in solid form on [third] Sat, biz jumps in metros as well as mass belt... Will cross ₹ 150 cr today [third Sun]... [Week 3] Fri 2.81 cr, Sat 4.55 cr. Total: ₹ 149.11 cr. #India biz," he wrote.
Reacting to it, Kartik tweeted, "Kal 150cr vaali Smile sochni padegi...#BhoolBhulaiyaa2 on Fire."
The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor is currently in quarantine since he contracted Covid. He recently informed netizens that he wouldn't be able to perform at the International Indian Film Academy Awards 2022, and wrote, "Sab kuch itna Positive chal raha tha,
Covid se raha Nahi Gaya."
The film is a standalone sequel to the 2007 movie by the same name, which featured Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan and Ameesha Patel. Kiara Advani and Tabu starred alongside Kartik in the second instalment.
The film has been considered a super hit as it minted Rs 141.75 in two weeks.
Meanwhile, Kartik has Shehzada in the pipeline, which is a Hindi remake of the Allu Arjun-starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.
