CAPA – the global aviation consultant expects the Indian aviation industry is headed towards a duopolistic structure with Air India and IndiGo making up a dominant 80% of the market. They say that the industry is witnessing a recovery, but smaller aviation companies could run into some turbulence.CAPA also expects the operating revenue of the industry to surpass pre-covid levels driven by a recovery in airline traffic and seat capacity, and yield improvement.
