Popular Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, who contested the Punjab Legislative Assembly Elections 2022, was shot dead by unidentified assailants on Sunday (May 29). He was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical treatment but was declared brought dead. His killing has sent shockwaves across the nation.
Several celebrities including Ajay Devgn, Shehnaaz Gill, Kapil Sharma, Himanshi Khurana took to social media to express their grief over his demise. Fans have also shared posts on Twitter and Instagram to mourn the death of the talented singer, who delivered several hit songs.
Several netizens found an uncanny coincidence between Sidhu Moose Wala's death and his final song which was titled The Last Ride. The singer had unveiled the song on May 15, two weeks before he was shot in Jawaharke village of Mansa district.
Fans couldn't help but notice that the image for the promotional material of The Last Ride had a crime scene from Tupac's assassination. One user tweeted, " Crazy how life works sometimes. Moosewala had just dropped "The Last Ride". The image featured on it is the crime scene from Tupac's assassination. Where he also was shot and killed whilst sat in the front right-hand seat of the car.

Fans also pointed out another uncanny coincidence between Sidhu Moose Wala's death and his popular song 295. The singer passed away on May 29 while his song was titled 295.
"What a Coincidence ! Track 295 :- aaj ki date n month 29-5. One of his last song was " the Last Ride"," one fan wrote on the micro-blogging site.
Sidhu Moose Wala, who was known for his gangster raps, enjoyed a significant fan following on social media. He had 7.9 million followers on Instagram. The singer, who was killed a day after his security was withdrawn, remained in the headlines for his controversies. He was accused of promoting violence and drugs through his songs.
An FIR was also registered against the Jatti Jeone Morh Wargi singer for allegedly hurting the religious sentiments of the Sikh community. Sidhu had later issued an apology after he received flak for his song.
