Hyderabad district records 220 fresh cases of Covid-19; Number of cases continue to rise in the state

Hyderabad: On Saturday, Telangana reported 652 new Covid-19 cases as the number of new cases in 20 districts continued to rise. There were 6,219 instances that were still open.
220 of the new cases were documented in the Hyderabad district alone, along with 41 in Medchal Malkajgiri and 46 in Ranga Reddy. Bhadadri Kothagudem, Khammam, Karimnagar, Nalgonda, Sangareddy, Pedapalli, and Hanumakonda are other districts that had an increase in instances.
8,25,360 cases have been recorded so far in the state, while 8,15,030 recoveries have been made, including 851 on Saturday. The recovery rate is currently 98.74 percent, while the positivity rate is currently 2.4%.
As no fresh deaths were reported, the death toll now stands at 4,111. A total of 40,451 samples were examined on Saturday. Telangana has now tested 3.67 crore samples, reaching a sample testing density of 9.87 lakh per million people.
Children under the age of 10, those over the age of 60, and those with comorbid disorders have been instructed to stay indoors due to the increase in instances, and everyone else has been advised to rigorously observe Covid procedure.
