In the Assam and Meghalaya border dispute where six people lost their lives during clashes that broke out at the Assam and Meghalaya Border, the Meghalaya Government has formed a panel that will be meeting Home Minister Amit Shah in the national capital. The Meghalaya government has also issued an order to extend the ban on internet services in Shillong and other parts of the state for next 48 hours. Only state registered vehicles are allowed in the state. There were candlelight protests seen across the state.Protesters hurled stones at various places.
