Elephant shows gratitude after being rescued from trench by an excavator

A fascinating clip shared on Twitter shows a young pachyderm being rescued from a mud pit with the help of an excavator. The clip begins with the mammal struggling on to come out of the pit. As it slips on the slopes, an excavator head is seen providing support from the back to help the animal exit the mud pit. With the extra push, the pachyderm manages to climb out of the pit. After making it to the higher ground, it walks up to the excavator and nudges it with its trunk. The sign of gratitude was witnessed in a Coorg forest in August. Video Credit: Twitter
