It’s time for celebrations as the Bollywood power couple, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, are now set to enter a new phase - parenthood. Yesterday (June 27), the Raazi actress took to Instagram and shared the happiest piece of news that the duo is expecting their first child together.

Soon after she posted the cutest picture from their hospital visit, fans, friends, colleagues, and family members could not control their happiness and started pouring congratulatory wishes in the comment section. Many celebrities such as Anushka Sharma, Priyanka Chopra, Karan Johar, Mouni Roy among others also extended their wishes for the same.

Now, congratulating the couple, mom-to-be Sonam Kapoor also sent a special wish to Gangubai Kathiawadi actress and commented on the post, “Congratulations darling!”

Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are also expecting their first child, and they’ve been sharing a plethora of unmissable glimpses of their journey to become mommy-daddy on the social media platform.

The actress has been grabbing the limelight for her baby shower pics, which took place in London a few weeks ago. The actress looked absolutely stunning in a bubblegum pink Liv gown.

For the unversed, Ranbir and Alia tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on April 14, 2022, in the presence of their close friends and family members. The lovebirds dated for five years before exchanging wedding vows.

On the film front, Alia and Ranbir are gearing up for Ayan Mukerji's superhero film Brahmastra, which is slated to hit the silver screens on September 9. Alia is working on her new Hollywood project, and Ranbir has just unveiled the trailer of Karan Malhotra's film Shamshera along with Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor. In the period drama, we will see the actor in a new classic avatar.
