Speaking exclusively to ET NOW, TV Narendran said that being the lowest cost producer of steel helps survive in the down cycle. Mr Narendran said that India has the right ingredients to be a producer and exporter of steel and that Tata Steel is looking to double the footprint in India in the next few years; 35- 40mn target by 2030. He hopes for the export duty to be removed soon. Puneet Chhatwal is very positive about the outlook for the company in FY23, and according to him, "the best in terms of demand is yet to come."
