The quiz-based show has returned to the small screens with an exciting new season. KBC 14 started on a strong note with a blockbuster premiere episode on Sunday (August 7).
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who is busy promoting Laal Singh Chaddha, appeared on Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 as a special guest along with Major D.P. Singh and Col. Mitali Madhumita. The 3 Idiots star, while answering a question related to Twitter, shared an interesting story about how he joined the micro-blogging site.

The Dangal star went the memory lane and spoke about the time when he was shooting for Dhoom 3. He revealed that Big B came on the sets in London to meet to his son Abhishek Bachchan. Aamir stated that the Deewar star asked him to join Twitter and share posts on the social networking platform. Within a few weeks of their conversation, the Ghajini actor debuted on Twitter.
Guess what? Although Aamir joined Twitter, he had no clue on how to use it. So, he would promote films of his friends on the popular platform.
Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan shared screen space in Thugs of Hindostan, which arrived in the cinema halls in 2018. The film co-starring Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh couldn't set the box office on fire.
Aamir impressed the studio audience as he managed to win Rs 50 lakh along with Major D.P. Singh and Col. Mitali Madhumita. The winning amount was donated to a charitable trust.
Kaun Banega Crorepati 14 will air on weekdays on Sony TV at 9pm.
