The writer of Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjana Sanghi's Rashtra Kavach Om Raj Saluja went on to make a few statements that have raised eyebrows. He went on to say that the film that has finally released in theatres is a treat for those who love action films. During a recent interaction, he was quizzed on whether the film is 'action ka overdose' to which he said that action can take away the logic from a film.
The writer also went on to to state the example of SS Rajamouli's RRR and how "throwing bikes with their hands" doesn't always have logic. "We know what a strong built Jr NTR has but still, the makers make the audience believe that these characters can do it." He further went on to say that "there will always be illogical action whether in Bollywood or even in the South."
Speaking to News18, Raj also went on to add that not just RRR but even KGF is full of illogical action sequens. Speaking about the North vs South debate, Raj went on to add that the audience is ready to accept South cinema actors but won't be able to accept Bollywood superstars.
"For example, if you put, say Shah Rukh Khan in KGF, they will not accept that Shh Rukh Khan can do this. But if Yash is doing it, you are accepting it. Why? Because the pan-India audience is already accepting that the South actors can do this. They can do any damn thing and still we like it, we don't have a problem. But they are not ready for the Bollywood actors for doing such stuff," he further added.
TOn the film front, Shah Rukh will next be seen in Pathan that releases in January 2023.
