Over the course of the weekend, Brahmastra dominated the global box office. The third Indian film to do so in the previous two years, this is the first time a Bollywood movie has ever topped the global box office charts. Prior to Brahmastra, the NTR Jr. and Ram Charan-starring RRR and Master starring Vijay, were the only films to accomplish this feat.
Global box office receipts for Brahmastra are believed to have reached $26.50 million (Rs. 211 crores), of which $18 million has come from India, $4.50 million from North America, and $4 million from the rest of the world.
