Ludhiana: 19-year-old man clobbered to death with stone by unidentified people after consuming liquor

Police have registered a murder case against an unnamed suspect based on the accusation of the victim's father, Mangal Singh. According to the complainant, Anthony was at home on Saturday night after coming from work. He abruptly left the house at about 9 pm without telling them anything.

Ludhiana: In yet another shocking incident reported on Sunday, a 19-year-old factory worker was brutally bludgeoned to death at an empty site in Ludhiana's Daba Road.

Anthony (19), a resident of Jain Colony has been recognised as the victim, Hindustan Times reported.

When he did not come home and his phone was turned off, his family began looking for him.

Anthony's father said that the villagers alerted him on Sunday morning that his son was found dead on empty land.

They went to the scene and quickly called the police. When officers from Division Number 6 arrived, they discovered Anthony's face had been smashed with stones.

Police combed through the CCTV video and found Anthony drinking with several unidentified persons and headed towards the plot. The persons he was with are being hunted by the police, Hindustan Times

Sub-inspector Madhu Bala, station house officer (SHO) of Division Number 6 police station, stated that the victim's body has been sent to a civil hospital for a postmortem.
