SS Rajamouli's upcoming movie SSMB 29, which stars South superstar Mahesh Babu, has generated a lot of hype recently for all the right reasons.
As soon as news of the duo joining hands spread like wildfire, several reports regarding a Hollywood celebrity making an appearance in this movie started floating on the internet.
Earlier, Pulp Fiction fame Samuel L. Jackson's name came to light amidst the rumours. Now as per reports, Extraction actor Chris Hemsworth has joined the list.
According to Bollywood Life, the Thor actor would make an extended cameo appearance in SS Rajamouli's upcoming movie. Since then, fans of Mahesh Babu are all over the moon at the prospect of seeing the two prolific actors in one frame.
After the huge success of RRR, director SS Rajamouli gained international fame and his movie was well-received worldwide. All eyes are, therefore, on the director whose next flick is rumoured to feature Hollywood actors.
With Chris Hemsworth and Samuel L. Jackson's names consistently getting linked in reports, we will have to wait till the makers put these rumours to rest and issue an official statement on the same.
As of now, Rajamouli is busy working on his upcoming Mahesh Babu movie which is believed to be in the pre-production stages. Since the cast hasn't been decided, there is a wave of interest among the audience as to the faces who will be seen featuring in the movie.
Earlier, reports stated that Rajamouli wishes to make his upcoming film reach the global platform just like RRR, due to which he plans to cast several Hollywood actors once again. Due to this, Samuel L. Jackson's name emerged in the reports.
Interestingly, Samuel L. Jackson once mentioned Rajamouli and called himself a fan of the filmmaker. He has already expressed a willingness to collaborate with the director and once shared in an interview that he desires a role in Bahubali 3.
Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu is now working on his 28th Telugu film, tentatively named SSMB28. The actor and hitmaker Trivikram Srinivas are teaming together for the third time on the film, which is expected to be a big hit. The much-awaited film, which stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead, is likely to be released in theatres around Makar Sankranthi in 2023.
