The actress is super excited for her upcoming Mani Ratnam's magnum opus film Ponniyin Selvan: I which also stars Trisha Krishnan in a pivotal role. Aishwarya's first look from the film has heaped massive praises from the fans and critics. Her striking features, ethnic avatar, and that extraordinary starry presence makes her a perfect fit as Nandini.
Well, the star cast of the film along with Mani Ratnam was present at the grand press event hosted in Mumbai today. The stars catered to media questions and gave insights about the film. Well, ever since, Aish's look from PS: I hit the web, many started comparing it to her iconic character Jodha, from Ashutosh Gowarikar's film Jodha Akbar.
Yes, being asked about the comparison and which role she felt was more challenging she said, "Comparisons nahi karte hain as artists. Har experience apne mein hi challenging hain aur apne mein hi yadgaar hain, apne aap mein hi khubsoorat hain. As an artist jab hume aise anubhavo ke awsar milte hain toh hum apne aap ko blessed samjhte hain. We really regard ourselves blessed because you are getting the opportunity to essay such impactful, memorable characters. And getting to work with filmmakers who an artist can keep complete faith in."

Aishwarya further added that it is the filmmaker who does most of the work and taht she feels blessed to be a part of such a process.
