Lock Upp's Sara Khan supports Kangana Ranaut after Payal Rohatgi targets Dhaakad box office collection: 'She has proved yet again...'

When the trailer of Kangana Ranaut-starrer Dhaakad was unveiled, movie buffs expected the film to set the cash registers jingling. Despite receiving praises for the impeccable performance of the lead artists and high-octane action sequences, the action thriller failed to impress the audience. While Kangana's new release bombed, Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani-starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 which clashed with Dhaakad at the box office, raked in big moolah.

Payal Rohatgi, who participated in Kangana Ranaut's Lock Upp, took a dig at the box office collection of Dhaakad. The former Bigg Boss contestant trolled the Panga actress for failing to register a solid opening and ever targeted Lock Upp winner Munawar Faruqui in her post.

After attending the premiere of Dhaakad in Mumbai, Payal had penned a long note on social media, taking a dig at Kangana. While she praised Rangoli Chandel, she launched a fresh attack on her sister. She even claimed that 'Kangana was sulking' after seeing her at the premiere.

After Payal slammed Kangana and took a jibe at Dhaakad's box office collection, Sara Khan took to Twitter to support the Queen actress. She said that Kangana proved yet again that she is a great performer.

"Hit or flop doesn’t matter. #KanganaRanaut proved yet again that she is a great performer," the Bidaai actress tweeted. Without taking names, Sara supported Kangana on the micro-blogging site.

For the unversed, Payal finished as the first runner-up of Lock Upp while Munawar lifted the winner's trophy of the show. The actress had expressed her displeasure after losing to the comedian in the grand finale.

After making an exit from Lock Upp, Payal had lashed out at Ekta Kapoor, Kangana and others for making Munawar win the show. She even trolled the Manikarnika actress for attending Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan Sharma's Eid 2022 bash.

Kangana is yet to react to Payal's remarks on the box office collection of Dhaakad.
