As fans wait with bated breath for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to unveil her first look at the Cannes Film Festival, the diva has arrived at the French Riviera with daughter Aaradhya and husband Abhishek Bachchan. She had jetted off from Mumbai on May 16 and has now arrived in France, and was immediately clicked by the paparazzi.
The OG queen of fashion wore a black Falguni Shane Peacock jacket with black pants and boots and a black luxury handbag. She left her hair straight and flaunted her signature red lip.
Aaradhya twinned with her dad in a hoodie - while he wore a purple one, she opted for a pink one. Several photos of the actress and her family have surfaced online. They received a warm welcome as one can see Aaradhya holding a bouquet of flowers.
Earlier, the family were papped in Mumbai airport before they left for Cannes.
Many Indian celebs have arrived in Cannes including Deepika Padukone and Tamannaah Bhatia. Deepika is a jury member of the 75th Cannes Film Festival. The actress recently shared her look for a photocall and wore ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee's printed shirt and green pants.
Tamannaah, on the other hand, wore a pastel green pantsuit with a purple corset top. She opted for purple eyeshadow, gold hoop earrings and a messy high bun.
Information & Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur will be leading the Indian delegation on the red carpet as India has been tagged the "country of honour" on May 18. Satyajit Ray's 1970 film Pratidwandi will receive a special screening on May 19.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his delight over the country being given a special title. He said, "Rich heritage and cultural diversity are India’s strengths.
