RRR star Ram Charan calls Raksha Bandhan trailer ‘beautiful’; Akshay Kumar thanks his ‘Anna’

The trailer of Akshay Kumar headlined Raksha Bandhan is making waves ever since its release. Capturing the emotional bond between a brother and his four sisters, the trailer of the Aanand L Rai’s newest offering has won the audience's hearts.
Besides fans, several members of the film fraternity have also heaped praises on the Akshay starrer. The latest celebrity to laud the Raksha Bandhan trailer is none other than Ram Charan.
Ram, who recently wowed the moviegoers with his power-packed performance in SS Rajamouli’s RRR, took to Twitter to share his views on the emotional drama which also stars Bhumi Pednekar.
“What a trailer @akshaykumar Sir! The beautiful and sacred bond of a brother and sister is incredibly captured in the trailer Also, happy birthday to the director @aanandlrai Sir @bhumipednekar @ZeeStudios_ #RakshaBandhan11August,” he tweeted.
Thrilled to receive a thumbs up from his friend down South, Akshay reverted with a special thank you message. “Thank you so much @AlwaysRamCharan Anna And just like our birthday boy @aanandlrai the story of #RakshaBandhan is all heart!” wrote Khiladi Kumar.
Meanwhile, besides Akshay and Bhumi, Raksha Bandhan also features Sahejmeen Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khateeb and Smrithi Srikanth as the four sisters. Speaking about the film at the trailer launch event, Akshay had stated that it will provide a solution to dowry.
“While doing films, I just don't speak about the problem. I also look for solutions. There is a solution in Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Padman and many more. Likewise, there is a solution to Dahej (Dowry) in this film. There is an answer to what we, and our society, should do. The film will give the solution to the problem,” said the 54-year-old actor.
Raksha Bandhan, Akshay’s third release of the year, will hit the screens on August 11. It will clash with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha.
