Akshara decides to give a second chance to her and Abhimanyu's relationship. However, she gets shocked when she sees the divorce papers sent by Abhimanyu.

The latest episode of Harshad Chopda, Pranali Rathod and Karishma Sawant starrer Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai begins with Neil asking Abhimanyu why did he send divorce papers to Akshara. Abhimanyu says that he does not need any lectures on this and leaves. Akshara calls Neil but he ignores her calls.
At the Goenka house, everyone decides to hide the divorce papers from Akshara. Vansh asks Aarohi to be careful or else he would expose her as well. Dadi says that she will tell Akshara some other day. Akshara calls everyone to have food.

Vansh tries to hide the papers but Akshara sees it. However, she misses seeing them. Later, Akshara requests Neil to set up a meeting for her with Abhimanyu. She says that she wants to start fresh and hence wants to meet Abhimanyu. Hearing this, Neil understands that Akshara hasn't seen the divorce papers yet.

Akshara requests Neil to bring Abhimanyu to the temple where they first meet each other. On the other hand, Abhimanyu waits for Akshara's reply post seeing the divorce papers. He wonders why Akshara hasn’t replied yet.
Akshara keeps thinking about how she will spend her time with Abhimanyu and they will have a good future. She says that she will give all her time to Abhimanyu. She expresses how eager she is to see Abhimanyu again. Abhimanyu finally agrees to go to the temple with Neil. Neil convinces him by saying that he kept a puja for Manjari.
Neil informs Akshara that they are leaving for the temple. Akshara happily prepares to leave. However, she gets shocked to see the divorce papers sent by Abhimanyu. She cries inconsolably. Abhimanyu reaches the temple with Neil and thinks about how Akshara confessed her love in this same temple.
Soon, he sees Akshara coming there with the divorce papers. Akshara and Abhimanyu recall their time together. Akshara questions Abhimanyu regarding the divorce papers. She decides to separate from him. The Birlas and the Goenkas come there and are shocked to see Akshara, Abhimanyu.
Goenkas ask Akshara to come along with them but Akshara declines to leave and discloses the divorce papers. The Birlas are shocked with Abhimanyu's decision but Mahima is happy.
Akshara said she wanted to give their relationship a second opportunity, but it’s okay if Abhimanyu does not want to. Mahima interupts and says that Abhimanyu does not trust her. Akshara asks Mahima not to speak in between them.
