Shiv Sena rebel Eknath Shinde today declared that he will go to Mumbai and "take Balasaheb Thackeray's legacy forward" as he spoke to reporters outside a hotel in Guwahati where he and other rebels have been staying for a week. Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will chair a key cabinet meeting at 5 pm. The officials said Mr. Thackeray, who tested positive for Covid last week, will attend the meeting virtually. Rebel Shiv Sena MLA Eknath Shinde today said that he will be in Mumbai soon to launch his next move.BJP leaders reportedly met at former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis's home in Mumbai to discuss the arithmetic required to form a government in a tie-up with the Shinde Sena faction.
