Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor remember mother Sridevi on her birth anniversary, share emotional post

Good Luck Jerry actress Janhvi Kapoor has dropped an emotional message on her mother and veteran actress Sridevi's birth anniversary. Janhvi's sister, Khushi Kapoor, has also shared a throwback picture with the late actress.

Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor have shared endearing posts on the birth anniversary of their mother, Sridevi. The veteran actress was not just an actress that was loved by millions but was also a doting mother to her two girls. Janhvi and Khushi took to social media to pay tribute to their late mother.

Janhvi shared a throwback picture of herself with the Chandni actress. She added that she misses her every day. "Happy birthday Mummai miss you more and more everyday. I love u forever," she wrote. In the picture, a little Janhvi can be seen posing with the gorgeous Sridevi.

Khushi took to her Instagram stories to share another overwhelming picture with her mother. In the pic, Sridevi can be seen planting a kiss on Khushi's cheeks. Their bond is visible in the photo. Janhvi has often spoken about how difficult it has been for the family to move on post Sridevi's death.

"After losing mom, the only thing that's kept me going and my dad going I think, apart from the love and support from family, is our love for films," she told Beer Biceps.

"Honestly, I don't think I'd have the will to go through it if I didn't love what I do so much, in a way that's almost selfish. I love it so much that...It's almost keeping me alive," she further added.

Sridevi passed away after accidental drowning in a bath tub on February 24, 2018. Sridevi's death came as a big jolt not just to her family but the entire nation. However, it did bring Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor back into the lives of Janhvi, Khushi and Boney Kapoor. And, now the bond between the half-siblings is stronger than ever before.
